Ferroli Modena 102?

I have a 8 year old boiler Ferroli boiler, the temperature knob has fallen off and cannot be put back. I cannot adjust the temperature, has anyone advise me please. The knob does not look like it broken, just dropped off.

spindle seems in tact but struggling to put back on, please advise?

the knob should have a spindle on the back of it which connects into the circuit board, if it's not there then you need a new knob as they sometimes snap leaving the spindle in place.
