cooker ?

my cooker keeps tripping out my power supply
nick barnes, February 2010
is it a free standing all in one hob, oven + grill?
is the cooker plugged into a 3 pin socket or does it have a larger cable going into an outlet?
have you recently got this or have you had this appliance insitu for a period of time?
does it trip out all your power or just to your cooker?

You don't give much information however obviously that should not happen.

Cookers should be wired on a dedicated supply. If that is not the case then you need to get an electrician to wire one for you.

If the cooker is on a dedicated supply and the fault has only just started happening, it suggests that the cooker had developed a fault and needs to be looked at professionally.

Cooker deal in very high currents and are not really a DIY proposition.
