Zanussi ZWF14791W-E57 etc!?

I had an E57 with my Zanussi ZWF14791w.

I checked the motor coil resistance and no problems there. I resoldered a couple of suspect joints on the motor control board and cleaned some contacts before reconnecting and running the diagnostic again.
While I was reconnecting I noticed that the cable to 'Pin 1' on the motor was all but separated. I made a temporary repair and now get a very brief EF4 followed by E9F, no E57.

Thanks for the help C.K. The EF4 was indeed me testing without the water supply!
Now when I run the self diagnostic it throws up the E9F still and no motor movement.
An engineer came to fix our new oven under warranty yesterday and had a quick look at his diagnostic cards but no sign of E9F!He thought it might be the main PCB.

I am tempted to send off the main PCB for repair, about £40 from QER ltd.

Any ideas?

EF9 is a board fault.
E57 is an inverter current issue.motor faulty, wiring issue, motor control board issue
do a continuity test on the loom from the motor to the control pcb.broken wiring will cause E57 issues.be careful if you go down the board route as any fault on the machine will blow the repaired board straight away.I have had this fault and it was a straight board issue but BE AWARE it might not be the only issue on yours!
