my hoover is working ok but the brushes on the head are not going round

thanks - a large red filter looking thing on foot head on left hand side. - just pull it outwards and away we go again lol!

I have the DC18 which had the same problem. There is a reset button on the head piece, its on the left side if looking from behind the hoover. Its worth looking at yours to see if there is one.
