how do i fix my hotpint aquarius wd440?

I have a hotpoint aquarius wd440 and today the rinse hold and on/off button flash and the cycle stops, how can i stop this?? how can it be fixed??

I have the same problem which has been diagnosed by an "Engineer" as a faulty heating element??

You can check if yours is the same diagnosis by trying to run a cycle with "No Heat" selected. If the cycle completes then you know it isn;t the pump and may be something else.
