i have an emachine model w5243 that shut down by its self and now it wont stay on i tried reinstalling windows but it shuts down before i can get it installed. it was saying to unplug a new device even though there isn't one but now it only shuts down right after i try to start it . please help !!

Have you..opened the case...played with the mobo,psu,ram etc more info on system set-up...

Do you see a bsod....list the code..
