How to reassemble wiring on my Goblin Steamatic 1341?

I have just replaced a blown thermister on my Goblin Steamatic, 1341. Tested working.
However, I am not sure of the wiring sequence to the switches, now I am attempting to use it again.
Having put the terminals back as I thought they were and switched on (after adding water), both the amber light (power on) and the red light (no water/add water- empty) light come on, and the element is not warming up to boil the water into steam.
What SHOULD happen is just the amber light comes on and the unit proceeds to heat the water in the tank until steam is produced, and you can work with it, until the tank is empty of water and THEN the red light comes on, telling you to turn off and refill the tank with water to use again.
Can anyone advise, or has a wiring diagram for this model, or know of a source of getting one?
Much appreciated!
