My Kew Hobby 80 pulsates?

the output from my kew Hobby 80 is no longer constant but has started to pulsate. Does anyone know what causes this

Usually it stems from debris in the end of the hose or the pressure adjustment nozzle. I have the Old KEW Hobby unit orig purchased in 1988 thru Home Depot. Still works great and I used the sand blasting adapter last summer on my marine boat prior to painting.
