Why won't my Zanussi Jetstream 1600 spin & drain?

In the last couple of days my Zanussi jetstream 1600 has been alarming E20, not going onto fast spin and subsequently not draining. Can anyone tell me what E20 means

drain issue clean out the filter located on front of machine
get rid of the excess water first by putting drain hose into a empty bowl
