Maytag PYE/G2300 dryer?

My PYE/G2300 does not heat. The drum turns along with a fan, but no heat. How do I fix this? The gas is connected.

You either have a bad igniter (resistance is to hi and not allowing gas valve to open),open detector, open thermostat, or coil(out of tolerance or open). Ensure that gas valve is open. Refer to schematics located under control console. good luck.
