how can I fix my toshiba D-VR35SB DVD recorder?

I unplugged my machine for approx. 2 mins to tidy up cable run .Since plugging in it will not work at all. It was working OK before . I have checked small fuse just where cable plugs in and it seems OK

Have changed 3amp fuse in plug and 2amp fuse in machine. Cable is ok. Reconnected scart leads still no joy.Any other ideas gratefully accepted.

replace the fuse anyway to eliminate that problem
pull out scart leads re-fit push them all the way in
then switch machine off for 10 min then re-try
