Can anyone help please. A black line approximately an inch across has suddenly appeared on my screen , running from top to bottom. This line comes and goes and is sometimes joined by another line set approximately 3" away from it?

Dry joints on surface mounted resistors located at the base of theblack lines, just need solder reflowing usally, but these are located on the ribbon connector which connect the screen to the driver boards behind a plate that you will see, easy to fix, if you are competent with electronics, if not ask someone who is, but this is a common problem on all these sets, and easily rectified, but people always blame the screen, it is caused by the excess heat generated in these sets
