Renault Megane"Speech" fault with radio?

I have a Renault Megane 54plate. the radio displays the "speech" text and is not responding. It just bleeps once when i press any button. Help.

This is happening to mine and I can not get it off. I hate driving in silence! And worse with the beeping!

With ignition on and radio on disconnect the battery for a few minutes. On reconnection the display should show CODE. Enter your 4 digit radio code and things should be OK
