Potterton fires for a hours, then shuts down have to press the reset button to ignite. Do i need to replace the circuit board and where do u get it.

if its a potterton suprima, you may have to go for a new circuit board if it constantly needs resetting, but check stats and thermistors, what a great guy mr fixit must be, id be out on my speed boat on the med if i was on 80k pa, maybe he is just touching base with us loosers to remind himself how great he is. salute

try turning the pump speed up and check that no air is in the system before taking the wonderful mr fixit route, i would then replace the overheat stat before thinking about the p c b, for boiler spates go to a specialist merchant with the gas council number of your boiler if you can find it, plumbers merchants wont have what you want
