I have an integrated Bosch Exxcel w/m which decided to stop yesterday no obvious sign of any fault.

Symmtom: no power - checked connectivity all ok

Before calling an expensive repair man just wnat ot know if there is something obvious i can do to fix it

It could be anything from from the board inside to the outlet power that your main leed is connected to. I am a Washing machine engineer but I couldnt tell you without looking at it. You would be better of getting someone to take a look at it and give you an estimate.
