As my toilet does not always flush what do you recommend i replace..... sometimes you have to half flush a dozen times before it will flush.....

Is it a simple DIY fix or will i need a plumber.

syphon washer gone, easy fix but then I would say that as I am a plumber. Have to remove cistern from pan, undo large nut underneath and remove syphon, turn upside down and you see washer, either round or oblong. Swap washer or swap syphon, neither part is expensive
