how do i unmute my radio/cd player in my Peugeot 206?

i think i may have muted my radio cd player in my Peugeot 206 car - how can i fix it?
the volume goes up and down but now sounds come out?

take shunt fuse out and put back in again. fuse in passanger compartment in panel by drivers right knee.fuse is marked "sh".
