How do I fix a Message errror 41 on my Brother?

I have a Model 3100C color copier/fax/scanner. Am getting a message to unplug and call Brother for Error 41. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Machine error 41 is a failed printhead. It is quite common on this model. Speak to Brother, they extended the warranty on printheads on all affected models, if you're lucky they will replace it free of charge.
