loose some excess water out through a rad bleed point till the pressure comes down to about 1.5 bar, check the filler loop if 100% off, better to disconnect it, now turn boiler C/H on, pressure should slowly rise to around the 2 bar mark and sit there quite happily all day long if it rises towards 3 bar suspect the expansion vessel ,or heat exchanger problem
