I have an Omega wolf electric scarifyer/weeder which is like a small rotavator. . Has anyone one serviced one of these machines? contact details will follow by submition of a reply to this question if someone can assist. Reason Omega wolf is said to be in receivers hands no spares no contact. Not worth sending locally for repair as the cost quoted was more than the purchase price of the machine plus if they can't replace worn gears it will be money wasted stripping it down. If I do it and find gears are required it only costs time and I can just bin it.
Hey peccavi you seem to be an encyclopedia of information can you help?
Omega Wolf GT20 needs a new Wheel and its attachment to the metal chassis

if it,s the same type i bought from Aldi, your belt might have worn which you can replace. But if your nylon gears have striped.you cannot get the parts.I have got my drive gear hardening in resin so i can re cut the gear

To anyone who happens to look in.
Doesn't matter sorted dumping it in the garage until I hear from trading standards as I think OmegaWolf.tv who went bust mid 2009 is believed to be trading as UKHS.tv that is uk home shopping. Same name crops up in both companies who happen to be trade in same area........Hmmm.
If you see advert for Wolf weeder / cultivator WG 1801 300w read this first before deciding to buy. One of the nylon gears stripped of its teeth. Personally I'm steering clear of all Wolf products.
