error 12 is being displayed on my PEUGEOT head unit?

the battery on my peugeot van went flat, took it off to charge it. when re connected display on head unit reads "12 ERROR", the model head unit is PU-2294A(C), any help would be grateful, thanks.

It should ask you for the code if you leave it powered-on for several hours.

But don't enter random codes because after 14 attempts it will shutdown completely and show "End".
