hi i have a 4000rds radio in my escort van which is loced on no 10 due to me having wrong code. i now have correct code but dont know how to unlock it can anyone help?

If the screen says LOCKED or LOCKED10, do the following:

1. Turn the radio OFF.

2. Press and hold the '6' preset button.

3. Turn the radio ON. Continue to hold the '6' preset button until the radio prompts for the code.

WARNING: This procedure will give you 3 additional attempts. Once they are used up, the radio can no longer be unlocked by user!
