Replacing Timer on Maytag Ensignia Washer?

How do you replace the timer on the Maytag Ensignia Washer model # MAV7557EWW? It started having long delays during wash cycles and now it will not start wash cycle at all. When you pull the knob to start the cycle it just makes a buzzing noise. Help.
