the door of my hotpoint aquarius FDL550 dishwasher won't close!?

Does anyone have any ideas? My machine worked fine last night, I emptied it today and went to close the door and it just won't close! Have looked for the obvious things like a fork etc stuck but nothing is blocking the door! Help please......
