Working behind a radiator?

I am replacing plaster boards in a bedroom I was wondering is there any way that I can work on the wall with the radiator still in place? I already have a new combi boiler in place! I also need to replace the skirting boards?

while your mucking about loosening rad valves tilting it foreward just isolate the valves and remove rad.

how do you intend on replacing plasterboard behind a rad without removing it first ?

The only way I know is to loosen off the inlet and outlet. There may be some leakage. When it is a bit loose, lift the radiator, assuming there is some play in the pipes, up and off the wall brackets, and tilt the rad forward. That may give you enough leeway to work
