Our washing machine is not spinning out It's a hoover xeXtra 6 kg A aa1400 HNL642, is the problem a serious one and would it cost a lot to call some one out, any idea roughly how much the repair might me, I do understand that the electronic my have gone and that would make a difference, in the 70s I would have had a go, I can still do but they are so complicated these day.

check the pump filter for any blockage and the drain hose, machine wont spin until the water has emptied. if all ok there check brushes on the motor for excessive wear, change if worn have fun
