Singer Stylist 834 Stitch Pattern?

I am having some trouble with the stitch pattern on my Singer stylist 834. The stitch disc guide is not going into the right spots but sits in between 2 different patterns. Does anybody know how to fix this or adjust the guide?

Hello Rich,
There should be an access hole on the back of the machine so you can get a long screwdriver in to adjust it.
