if its a ford duratorque engine then the dust comes from dual mass flywheel, this can be changed for a solid flywheel and should stop problem re-occuring.[this type of flywheel is only fitted to convoy with above engine]

Sure is. Its a convoy isnt it? LDV brought out a modified clutch prior to their demise. Buy clutch from LDV dealer and save your starter!
