Most likely you need to replace the heating element in the back of the dryer, unless a wire came off. Dryers are not complicated. Pretty much a drum for the clothes, a heating element like what you see in a hair dryer only bigger, and lastly a motor. A repairman can fix this problem quick or a handyman you know. It cost me around $40.00 for the heating element and $45.00 for the repair man the first time. I replaced it myself the second time. It is well worth it if you have a good dryer. The reason the heating element goes out is usually due to a lack of proper ventilation out the back of the dryer or the vent getting plugged up and causing overheating, thus burning out the element. Make sure you have the right size vent tube going out the back and check it every 6 months to clear out any lint etc.,. My dryer is 18 years old and still runs great. Hope this helps.
