how to fit the waste pipe to a downstairs toilet - does just one waste pipe - fit to the toilet that then fits to the outlet waste

hi spec you know your job as i've sen with many replies. and that's what I thought but I was covering my back.
explain this one.

Building control made plumber put in a air control valve with two toilets, basin and bath connected to the same stack pipe why?. Didn't see where the valve was placed so assumed it would be in the stack pipe. Ws shifted to another building lay out another urgent job.

what a load of rubbish you talk.
how do you think houses are done with two or more toilets on one soil stack.
or toilet cubicles.
providing the top or the end of the stack/soil pipe is vented it won't syphon.

For a start toilets only have one waste pipe.
connect what to the downstairs toilet, the upstairs one?
Problems with thiscan arise with two toilets connected to the same pipe as flush the upstairs if connected to the downstairs could syphone the downstairs one and you'll end up leaving the house because of the stink.

You will need an air/pressure cotrol vlave that prevents syphoning it opens when toilet flushed to remove pressure and no stink by the way it works.
Take a digi picture of the toilet down stairs. Go to your plumbing shop [not diy store] with the camera or pics explain clearer than you have here what you want to do and they will give you all the advice and parts you need.
