Fault with 3way diverter f valve on ravenheat combi boiler?

After changing the diaphram and seals on my diverter valve, the central heating is coming on when switched on but the domestic hotwater is not pressing the micro switches,I have checked that the black cap is attatched? could anyone please advise me on what to do next or attatch a break down diagram of how the unit should look internally. Thanks.

I replaced the diaphragm, the spindle moves in and out when demanding but didnt quite trigger the micro switch, i placed a small screw cap and it now triggers fine. but i still have the same problem, when calling for DHW the rads heat up.

Hi Andy
Do you have pictures of valve, how to put one back together?

hi, i think the clue is in the question, you say you have changed the diaphragm, most likely an error putting it back together. Have a look at this pic, is this the unit you are refering to?

the diaohragm has to have a perfect seal, are you sure it was installed ok? it has to stick to the bit of the valve on the left in the pic.

As Andy said you should be able to press the microswich manually to test switch is ok. It should just pull off.

If you remove the switches from the diverter valve can you feel the spindle move back and forth when demanding hot water? can you make the switches manually to make the boiler light up? If you can light manually by pushing the switches then it would seem the diaphragm is not put back the right way round. I might be able to get a copy of its set up to you, if i can find it!.
