I am changing the belt on my Tricity Bendix TM310W condenser dryer but can't get it tight enough to make the drum spin

there is a black wheel on the motor.remove the spring tension from the motor and then push the motor as far inwards as it will go.fit the belt around drum and motor shaft.now pull the motor back and refit the motor tension spring.black wheel will be on the back side of the belt and tensioning the belt so the drum rotates
