How can I fix my television, Sony, unknown?

I don't know if its possible, but my television fell face first onto the ground but didn't hit hard, now when I try to turn the power on it comes on, I start hearing sound, nothing ever shows and then it turns off on it's own. Is there anything I can do?

A TV which has received physical shock should be checked over by a qualified engineer.

If you're lucky just the tube base pcb. has become detached and can be pushed back on.

If you're unlucky they may find the main printed circuit board is fractured, especially near the line output transformer.

If it is fractured in the high voltage section, the TV is unsafe and should be scrapped.
