My greenstar 24ri is making clicking sounds and needs resetting each mornin?

My Greenstar has just been serviced as it needed resetting each morning the Worcester agent says my system needs a power flush as boiler is over heating.

Could the fault lie with circuit board or elsewhere?

My BOILER IS 5 YEARS OLD AND HAS BEEN SERVICED EVERY YEAR.

Thanks for your comment. I have turned down the boiler stat to halfway and so far so good.

Why the Wocester agent eng turned it to full up I don't know.

Is the boiler stat on maximum? As I had one with similar problems and it worked perfectly with the stat turned down half way. Didnt overheat at all and the rads and hot water got perfectly hot
