how do i get gamecube to work?

I have a panasonic omnivision tv/vcr all in one and cannot get gamecube to work on it. I do not have original remote for tv...I only have radio shack 3 in 1 remote and cannot find correct channel?... bubbausry@yahoo.com

Press AV or AV2 on the controller whilst the cube is switched on it shuld wrk
