BOSCH WFF 1401 - clothes coming out machine saturated?

We've had this machine now for about 8 years, so far no problems.
However when the cycle is finished, clothes are coming out still soaking.
Is there an obvious answer for this, is there an easy fix

The spin function isn't working. Alternatively, you need to drain the sump at the bottom of the machine - it may be full of fluff.
