i have a piranha remote controll alarm on my peugeot boxer motor home ,the alarm works when i turn it on but can not turn it off with the remote,replaced battery,worked for a while but now will not turn alarm how can i check the remote,,

your local auto electrician should carry a remote tester and shouldn't charge a lot to test it but you might have a faulty system so check for blown line fuses under dash or behind steering cowls ,if blown then replace and try again but if remote working and no fuses gone then you might have to remove system
