clean the sump filter out first,the large black hose that is connected to the bottom of the outer drum , then the pump,reassemble then retry.

you must get rid of the excess water first via the drain hose down into a empty bowl, if water dribbles out filter blocked,
if fairly quick maybe pump has an obstruction in it by stripping 3 the body screws you prove its blocked/not blocked and can turn freely , pumps are a cheap replacement and easy to replace
