How do you balance a ceiling fan?

At HIGH speed it makes a clicking sound be/c it is out of balanace...how do I balance it?

im sorry your question did not get answered properly. it's probably a little late and you've already got this issue delt with, but here's some help anyhow.

make sure all the balde screws are tight then test the unit again. if problem still persists, check to see if any of the blades are warped. you may have to remove the blades and lay them flat to see this. if they are not warped you'll need to get a fan ballancing kit to ballance the blade. instructions will be provided. it's basically just trial and error by adding a weight to each blade one by one and testing to see if the wobble has improved.

I recall hearing something about how you have to measure the distance between each fan blade and the ceiling and then adjust it so that all are even. I think the most effective method is to measure all the blades without moving the fan at all. Hope this helps you!
