how can i fix my dishwasher?

diplomat ADP8322 not emptying properly, also goes through full cycle but dishwasher tablet not dissolved at end of cycle so washing up not clean. have checked filter, spray arms and made sure no kinks in water pipe.

I know it sounds silly but is the water supply on? it took me half an hour to realize the blue switch was in wrong place lol
