Problem receiving multi-page faxes. Model Kyocera KM 1820?

Problem receiving multi-page faxes. Page one will only have the top portion of the form. Pages 2-4 may or may not be received. We have been told that if we insert 1-2 blank pages in front of the fax the receiving party will get the last 4 pages with no problem.
