I'm replacing a Kenmore microwave hood model 665-61709 with a new Kenmore model # 72180039. I'm having trouble removing the old microwave; I remove the two large corner screws, but cannot get it off of the wall plate.

Also, are the wall plates compatible? It would be great I didn't have to install a new plate.
