jaguar multi cd player problem?

My jaguar s type (03 reg) multi cd changer does not work. I have 6 cds in it but when i try to play them the message comes up NO DISCS. Or some times only tries to play cd 6 which it thinks has 99 songs for about 30 seconds then says no cd. Any ideas on this one please.
