More than likely you have a burn out on your convergence board. If the TV is under warrenty still, unlikely as the age of the set is old, the repair is simple just pretty costly. Be ready to pay around $450.00 for a board repair and then the reprogramming of the ROM. Make sure that the tech knows that this set is operating on a Hitachi chassi (which is a very good thing, most phillipps TV's are pieces of crap this one however got lucky) b/c that can make the alignment tricky as the remote for the TV may not directly interact with the ROM programming.
