I bought a red mango mp3 player from argos last week and it won,t work properly It has loaded all my music on, but then it plays a few songs then it jams after playing about four songs and I can,t get it to play anything else it is stuck on one song won,t go back or foward I erased all the info on it, then downloaded everything again thought it had worked but only played four songs again then jamed on one song different one from the last time but same place What can I do As ARGOS refuses to exchange it. Havent I got right.

connect it to your computer via the USB port ....
right click the drive it shows in and select properties, where you'll find options to fix various problems on the drive and defragment it. I used all the options offered and it solved my jamming problem

I have a redmango MP3 also and yes it did it to me to. However i discovered that if you press & hold the the big round multi key in the middle for longer than 2 seconds it puts it into jamming mode. The soloution is to press & hold the big round key again for 2 seconds and this will unlock the jamming mode. I use mine for jogging and i have to be careful as it gets stuck in my pocket and gets jammed but at least now i know how to fix it. Hope that helps...

i also just bought one wont play properly, i thought i had broken it trying to find out how to insert battery.
sounds like argos might know theres a problem as checkout lad said i couldnt return it unless it was faulty. which i now believe it is. i will try to return it today. wish me luck.

If no joy Small Claims Court plus at least £50 for aggro.
