How can i take my sky plus recordings and burn them to DVD?

I found a free download that will back up recordings, but will not convert it to be burnt to DVD.
Can i link the box to a DVD player/recorder as i have access to one. any help would be much appreciated.

I put my sky out put into a DVD recorder and copied saved programes.Play recorded programmes and just record as normal.
