how do i fix my x reg transit gear box crunching when going in to 3rd?

yesterday my fwd transit new shape started to crunch when gearing down into 3rd now its doin it going up can any1 help plz

Sounds like syncro hub in gearbox has gone,either put up with it or try and source replacement g/box.
