My sound won't work and ive checked the monitor thingy and i'm not sure if i plugged it in right! What should it look like? I have a Windows XP and ive had this computer since 2/12/03!

i dont think my audio in my device manager is set up right, how can i change that,my computer is windows 98

if it is in board sooound driver's u have to go to ur support web site for ur computer and re-install sound driver's....If it is sound card ...re-install driver's for ur card
