I have water leaking out from my pressure relief pipe what is causing this?

If this is a boiler the most probable cause of this fault is a faulty pressure relief valve OR a discharged expansion vessel OR the fill valve was not turned off properly when you last topped up the system pressure. With the exception of the last fault, this repair should be carried out by a Gas Safe Registered engineer who has HEATING registered on the rear of his ID card AND has experience with sealed systems. If his ID card is in the name of a company, he is only allowed to carry out this type of work when working in the pay of that company. NOT doing a cash job.
