Where can I nuts/bolts to fix my folding gardens furniture. Brass for win?

My folding garden furniture has lost some of its screws and I can't seem to find anybody who sells these replacements. The furniture is Winchester Collection and was bought about three years ago.

Try searching Ebay for "Solid brass Chicargo Screws"... you'll find exactly what you need in the finish and size you need. Good luck

I struggled to find any Brass bolts and sleeve and was reluctant to purchase online since may not fit ... I have just managed to but from B & Q a pack of 4 connector bolts which fit perfectly and make my chairs fully usable again for only £2.98 a pack ! The brass would have been perfect but I was prepared to compromise with these .. they have brown plastic ends ... but who really looks at bolts on a chair ? I am having the same problem to find any nuts/bolts for my chairs - did you have any luck in finding any?

I think they are called "Sleeve Nuts", I found them on ebay, you will also need some m6 threaded bar.

Ebay link below.

I have exactly the same problem with Winchester Garden Set bought 3 years ago from B&Q. Went back to the store for replacements but met with blank looks and directed to nuts & bolts section of the store. They are not selling this range any more but still sell similar using the same bolts.I contacted B&Q on line but they couldn't help either advising me that the screws and probably the furniture is from China. You would think B&Q would hold spares spares as this type of bolt is used across their range of garden furniture. So be warned if you are buying from B&Q. The bolt material is soft and the thread for the nut strips off. Iam going to a hardware store to get nearest size then add a sleeve to act as pivot. Don't use a full threaded machine screw as the threads will damage the hole in the wood. I may have to use a shouldered bolt nearest to existing and use 2 nuts (1 to act as a locknut) and washers to lock into position but stilll allows the arms of the furniture to pivot.

An independent hardware store or even somewhere like B&Q have brass screws. Just take with you one thats similar to what you want and decide if it needs a washer & nut/wingnut on it.
